This is a snapshot of one of the layouts on our newspaper website (ppchsnews.com). I discussed a lot about how the website is set up on Web & Social Media, but I'd like to note a few things about our detail-oriented design.
1. The arrows on the title of the section add color and definition to the layout in comparison to a standard red bar.
2. Photos and graphics have a specific size in order to complement the layout of the story.
3. The actual stories themselves have their headline, byline, and a story teaser.

AICE Media
Third Period Class
Since my school doesn't have a magazine, I had the privilege to take the "AICE Media" class. I was able to create a magazine with a cover, double-page spread, and a table of contents. Before taking this class, I didn't realize the endless possibilities that journalism has to offer: newspapers, magazines, broadcast, etc. But now that I am almost done with this course, I know the opportunities are endless for possibly acquiring a job at a magazine.
